By air

Flying is probably the quickest and easiest way to start your holiday.

Alicante Airport is just 45 minutes from the "Orihuela Costa" by road and as an International Airport it has convenient direct flights from all over Europe, both scheduled and charter airlines. Alternatively Murcia airport at San Javea is growing in popularity with some of the low cost airlines.

From the UK, flights are available all year from most regional airports with most of the low-cost airlines flying to either Alicante or Murcia. It’s between 2-2½ hours flying time. Connecting flights are available from the rest of the world via Madrid or London. 

If you're flying in, we recommend hiring a car for your stay as it gives you the use of the car for the whole of your holiday for little more than the cost of a cab or transfer from the airport and back. We can book your car with "Luz Cars", a local company based in Torrevieja, who operate a fleet of modern cars, regularly updated A full range of cars are available at both Alicante and Murcia airports. Luz Cars are priced in Euro's and you simply pay on arrival at the airport where a representative will be waiting for you, saving you a long wait at a Rental booth!. You'll be on your way before others have got their paperwork sorted ! You may save a little by booking through a "broker" but we have owned property in the area for a long time and believe that Luz Cars are "one of the best"

By Road

Driving is a real alternative if you have a little more time for travelling. The road network in Spain is good with easy access to the Costa Blanca from all directions. From the UK, it's about 24 hours driving including the Tunnel or Ferry or alternatively, use the ferry from the UK to the Northern Spanish ports of Bilbao or Santander. It’s about a 600 mile drive via Madrid.

The European road network makes it an easy drive from all parts of Europe with lots of choice for overnight stops on the way.
